Entering a new stage, doing something new is always scary. I have periods when I really do not feel like doing, but I know that it will be cool. How can you help yourself overcome these fears or reluctance?
Rule 1. Step over yourself and do what will definitely benefit you in the future. I always do this, and this is not about the fact that you compromise your principles for a dubious result. This is the moment when it’s scary, but worth it.
Rule 2. It’s scary, because there are always people who do not support and only condemn, but only a few are on your side , the rest will laugh and say: why are you climbing in there, this is not yours. Therefore, we do not pay attention to skeptics, but if the opinion of people hurts you, then ask yourself the question: “How authoritative is this person for me?”
Rule 3. Do not be guided by the rule that everyone should mind their own business. Because everyone should do what he likes. If you like it – step towards it and do it!
Rule 4. I always adhere to this rule, as I prefer to find out what happens if I do? Than then bite your elbows and think about what could have been.
Rule 5. A good quote that stuck in my mind in 2012: “You need to be afraid not of death, but of an empty life,” because how scary it is to die and understand that you left nothing behind, that you did not do what you wanted, but your life was wasted – after you there is nothing left but a tombstone.
Therefore, I choose to do, step forward and live this life with a high. This is partly the meaning of life: to leave something behind, to live it the way you wanted, and not as someone told you and someone else wanted.
